Cottell Park – Deerfield Township’s Premier Park

Cottell Park
I had a few work related erands to run yesterday. I was driving on Snider Road yesterday afternoon, crossing Irwin-Simpson Road, on my way to our RealCincy Group office in Blue Ash. It was such a beautiful, sunny day, still a bit cool, but all the same, just gorgeous. I passed Cottell Park and saw the kids playing on one of the playground sets that make me wish I was 8 again. I saw the dedicated walkers getting their afternoon exercise, huffing and puffing around the walking trails enjoying the aerobic benefits of a good run/walk. I must confess. It took every once of strength I could find in my type A “work-work” personality to continue with my workday and not TOTALLY blow off my responsibilities! I was ready to grab my running shoes and join the gang! However, being your dedicated real estate professional, I put on my “go to work” face, and kept on heading toward the office.

We are enjoying the color of spring
Spring has arrived! These pics are from my yard and neighborhood. It’s just beautiful up and down the street. Flowers coming alive. Gardens being tended to. The wonderful smell of mulch! The “aggressive” yard guys in the community have already pulled out the lawn mower! We aren’t quite ready for that at our house, but it is just a matter of time. So, in between thinking about what to plant this year, getting the mower ready so you aren’t the last guy in the neighborhood to do something about the lawn, let’s find something fun to do. Even adamant gardeners need a night out!

Heritage Oak Park
Finally! We’ve experienced not only the “official” first day of spring, but the weather has decided to cooperate too. It’s time to get out and play. Maybe the kids are suffering from cabin fever. Sometimes mom comes down with the “If I don’t get out of the house with these kids” blues. I know everyone is looking for inexpensive ways to get out as a family and just spend time together. Just head to the park! Heritage Oak Park. Heritage Oak Park is Mason’s largest park, with 80 acres of tree-lined, natural beauty.
Deerfield Towne Center – Because it’s Important to Know Where to Find the Best Shopping!

Deerfield Towne Center
One of the fun things about coming to a new area is finding the best shopping. Mason and Deerfield Township residents are fortunate to have amazing opportunities to boost the economy a short drive, and in some cases, a short walk away from their front door. Deerfield Towne Center is just the place to indulge in a little “shop therapy”. After an exhausting day of shopping, I feel it’s best to let someone else do the cooking. After all, therapy is never easy! So just take advantage of one of the excellent restaurants. With 65 national stores, specialty boutiques, and excellent restaurants, Deerfield Towne Center is has something for everyone.
